Two GMs suffer upsets, 6 others survive scare
Bhubaneswar, June 8:

 In a day of upsets, two Grandmasters suffered defeats and six others survived scares in the second round of the 1st SCS International Open GM Tournament being played at Swosti Plala here today.
Fourteen-year-old West Bengal boy Prantik Roy stunned Russia GM Alexander Fominyh, while Indian GM J Deepan Chakkravarthy was outplayed by compatriot Anurag Jaiswal.
Top seed Sergei Tiviakov (Holland), Yuriy Kuzubov (Ukraine), Yuri Drozdovskij (Ukraine), Roman Ovetchkin (Russia), Yaroslav Zinchenko (Ukraine) and Andrey Rychagov (Russia) are the six Grandmasters who were held to draws by Indian youngsters Sayantan Das, Sahaj Grover, Padmini Rout, OT Anilkumar, Utkal Ranjan Sahoo and GV Sai Krishna respectively.
