Minutes of the Annual District Chess Conference

1.      Allotment of State Selection Matches to various Districts/ Clubs/ Academies and finalisation of State Tournament Calender 2011.

(a)   All Odisha  (U-7) 3 days, (U-9) 4 days, (U-11) 4 days will be conducted at The Universe, Cuttack by Khordha District Chess Association. Schedule will be inform shortly.

(b)   All Odisha (U-13) 4 days, (U-15) 4 days, (U-17) 4 days will be conducted at OASA Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. Schedule will be inform shortly.

(c)  All Odisha (U-19) at Boudh (Prize funds Rs.8,000/-)

(d)  All Odisha (U-25), 3 days at Nayagarh (Prize Funds Rs.4,000/-)

(e)   Sr. State Fide Rating Chess Championship has been allotted to Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela.

(f)    State Women Chess Championship has been allotted to Cuttack District Chess Association.

2.      Decision on All Orissa Open Championships by various Districts.

5.     Allotment of National (U-9) Boys/ Girls Chess Championship.

The National (U-9) Chess Championship is provisionally allotted to St. Xaviers’ High School, Dhenkanal on behalf of Dhenkanal District Chess Association.

6.     State Registration of Players.

Registration of players are mandatory for all and will be for one session (01 Apr 2011 to 31 Mar 2012) in a year. Players have to submit the Registration form along with two passport size photographs, Copy of Date of birth Certificate with the amount of Rs. 150/-.
