Secretary of Khordha District Chess Association  cum Chairman of S.R. Chess centre, the only chess institute in Orissa, Mr Subhasis Patnaik's latest chess books "Learn Chess Step by Step " and "444 Interesting Chess Puzzles Mate in Two Moves"  were inaugurated by Shri Subrat Tripathy,IRTS,Senior D.G.M East Coast Railway  at Hotel Crown on Sunday 6th February. Not to mention that Mr Patnaik had authored four chess books last year. The inaugural speech delivered by Mr Tripathy was very inspirational to all chess students and their parents even to the chess coaches. The inaugural function was successfully commenced by cordial presence of Dr Mrs Dipti Patnaik former reader in chemistry in Ravenshaw University. Welcome speech was given by Mrs Pragyan Mishra and the vote of thanks was delivered by Director of S.R. Chess Center Mr Satyaranjan Patnaik.

LOKARPANA of Chess Books

          The chess books "Learn Chess Step By Step" and "444 Interesting Chess Puzzles" authored by Mr Subhasis Patnaik, the LOKARPANA ceremony was successfully done on 9th February at The Universe, Cuttack on the occasion of 80th birthday of Shri Girija Bhusan Patnaik, Founder of The Universe. Following guests attended the ceremony.
