Formation of Odisha Chess Development Committee to assist the Odisha Chess Adhoc Committee

As you all know that the All India Chess Federation has appointed the Odisha Chess Adhoc Committee to look into the matters of Odisha Chess after suspending the OSCA for its various acts of commissions and commissions.

The Adhoc committee has been successfully conducting all the events including national and international GM level tournaments apart from the regular state selection tournaments. Also, there has been a spurt of activities and the prestigious AICF COACHING CAMP for WYCC, TURKEY is underway right now.

Now, it has been felt necessary to form a ODISHA CHESS DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE to supplement and assist the ADHOC CHESS Committee in order to successfully take up and implement the future challenges related to the development of the game of CHESS in Odisha, till a regular Chess body is elected as per AICF directions and the Hon'ble Court's orders.

The constitution of the Odisha Chess Development Committee is as under :

1. Sri Sibabrata Dash, Chairman
2. Sri Vivek Tibarewal, Convenor
3. Sri K.K.Nath
4. Sri Subasis Patnaik
5. Sri S.R.Patnaik

This committee will work in synergy with the Adhoc Committee for the promotion of the game of CHESS in our State.
